    Great Staff ...Osprey - Mar 6, 2010
Dropping your 4-legged furry baby off under the care of strangers is not the easiest thing to do when there is the added element of anesthesia involved. You need to feel that the hands of the people you put your dog's life in are on-board with treating them as well as you yourself do. This animal hospital exceeds these expectations we have as pet owners! The front office staff are caring and you can tell are passionate about animals. The veterinary doctor that saw our pooch was equally as passionate and very knowledgeable but most of all PRACTICAL. There were no over-the-top recommendations made, only sound medical advice for our pooch. I love South Valley Animal Hospital!

Great Place for our Pets... Nickname Unavailable - Feb 16, 2010
We have been taking our pets to this facility for nearly 5 years and they have been nothing but professional and friendly. I was dismayed to see the negative reviews of this facility based on someone's angry rants. If your not a doctor then how would you know what tests your animal needs or doesn't need? The doctors have always explained every option with costs V.S. benefit included in the discussion ( as any thorough provider should). One of our pets has needed pretty extensive care throughout her life and South Valley has been there every time we needed them. So thanks south Valley doctors and staff we appreciate your hard work.

    Excellent!... Boxer Mommy - Dec 9, 2009
We have been taking our boxer to South Valley since he was 3 months old and have always received EXCELLENT service. The front desk girls know us over the phone and always greet us by name when we walk in. The techs and Dr. Frerking are great too. We have referred all our friends to Dr. Frerking and all of them have also received wonderful service. We will never take our "baby" elsewhere.

    The Best... T.G. - Nov 18, 2009
Dr. Frerking is the BEST vet I've ever found for our dog. Contrary to the strange review I read below, Dr. Frerking in fact told me we did NOT need to vaccinate our dog as much as other vets had been doing. He spent more personal time with us than any vet ever has, his staff are bright and attentive and so gentle and loving with the animals. They are truly the BEST.

    Awesome... Sheila - Oct 29, 2009
I have been going to South Valley for 2 years. I have seen 3 different Dr in the office. Before moving to Las Vegas, I fired 3 different Vets. I am very particular about the care my babies receive.I love South Valley. They are knowledgeable, kind and compassionate. Dr Frerking was AWESOME when I had to put my sweet Lhasa mix, LuLu to sleep. He looked at her and knew what was wrong. She was a very sick girl and he did all to save her without milking me for money in my time of desperation. Don't be afraid of SVAH. While I am very sorry that "Unhappy Customer" had a bad experience, It seems she is looking for revenge. Remember people there are ALWAYS 2 sides to a story.

    They Listen... Lisa - Sept 25, 2009
Whether finding a vet you can trust or a people MD this town is rough around the edges. South Valley hospital has always been extremely careful with my baby and treated him as their own each and every time I have had to take him in. He has been a patient here off and on for over 2 years now. From the receptionist, to the tech, to Dr. Frerking everyone takes their time, LISTENS, and gets to know you and your pet. In my time here I have never been pressured into buying extra meds or treatments (vitamins/teeth cleaning stuff) and have always been given a choice with information. These are people who care about dogs!! and their owners!! If you want walmart style care go somewhere else, if you want a vet who cares and listens to you about your pet go here!
