How does pet insurance work?
Pet insurance reimburses the owner after the pet has received care and the owner submits a claim to their insurance company. Our hospital does not offer in-house insurance plans, but we can help file claims once services have been paid in full. Pet insurance can vary, so take the time to research pet plans before choosing the right one for your pet family.
What is Direct Vet Pay?

Trupanion pet insurance offers Direct Vet Pay. Your pet’s hospital submits your claim for pre-approvals, and depending on co-pays and approvals, you pay just your portion of the bill. Trupanion pays your pet’s hospital directly for the rest.

What do I do if my pet is having surgery?

Prior to surgery, it is important to fast pets. Please take away all food, water, and treats no later than 10 pm the night before. All pets need to be checked in between 7 am and no later than 9 am.

Allow 15-20min for the staff to check your pet in. Please contact us with any questions at (702) 451-5111.
