Dr. Rebecca Perry, DVM
Dr. Perry, originally from Johnson City, TN, holds a Bachelor’s degree in General Biology with a Minor in Vertebrate Paleontology from East Tennessee State University. This unique academic background sparked a lifelong fascination with animals, both ancient and modern. She continued her veterinary education at St. George’s University School of Veterinary Medicine in Grenada, and during her clinical year at Virginia Tech School of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Perry discovered a deep passion for caring for all species, from the smallest critters to the largest creatures.
Dr. Perry’s special interests include surgery and exotic animal medicine/husbandry. She is particularly passionate about providing the best care for animals that are often overlooked in traditional veterinary practices.
A proud advocate for inclusivity, she is an ally of the LGBTQ+ community and is dedicated to creating a welcoming and compassionate environment for all clients and their pets.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Perry moonlights as a professional mermaid, bringing a touch of magic to underwater performances. She also loves biking and hiking with her island dog, “Beetlejuice”.
At home, Dr. Perry shares her life with a diverse menagerie, including “Beetlejuice”, “Garth” and “Clowny” the cats, three rats, three turtles, a rabbit, three geckos, and a variety of spiders and scorpions. Her eclectic and lively household is a reflection of her deep love for animals of all kinds.

Dr. Chelsea Quinn, DVM
Dr. Chelsea Quinn was born and raised in Mississippi and has aspired to become a veterinarian for as long as she can remember. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Science with a concentration in Animal Science from Alcorn State University. Driven by her passion for animal health, she went on to pursue her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at St. George’s University in Grenada, where she later completed her clinical training at Louisiana State University.
While at St. George’s University, Dr. Quinn was deeply involved in student leadership and advocacy. She served as a Class Term Representative for the Student National Association for Black Veterinarians (SNABV) and as Secretary of VOICE (Veterinarians as One Inclusive Community for Empowerment). Through these organizations, she helped promote visibility, inclusion, and support for underrepresented groups in veterinary medicine, including—but not limited to—Black, Latinx, LGBTQ+, and Indigenous communities.
She is also a proud member of the Gamma Phi Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, which she joined during her time at Alcorn State. Her ongoing commitment to service and sisterhood reflects her dedication to uplifting her community both within and beyond the veterinary profession.
During her clinical year at LSU, Dr. Quinn developed a strong passion for general practice and comprehensive patient care. She is dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate veterinary services and takes pride in ensuring each patient receives the best care possible.
Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Quinn enjoys spending time with her two beloved pets—Winnie, a spirited dog she adopted while living in Grenada, and Toulouse, a charming cat she rescued in the United States. They are daily reminders of her commitment to animal welfare and the deep bond between pets and their people.

Callie Trainor, DVM
Dr. Callie Trainor grew up in New Jersey and has always had a passion for animals, especially horses. After graduating with a B.S. in Animal Sciences with a minor in Equine Sciences from West Virginia University, Dr. Callie began to pursue her dream of veterinary school and was accepted to Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. She traveled and lived on the island of St. Kitts with her beloved German Shepherd, Harley, by her side. When she wasn’t studying. Dr. Callie enjoyed her time on the island by hiking, reading, and making frequent visits to the beach with Harley. When she returned stateside, Callie was reunited with her cat, Dani, and all three made their way to Purdue University for her last clinical year of veterinary school.
Dr. Callie gained an exceptional amount of experience in many specialties but always excelled in general practice and internal medicine. Dr. Cassandra MacLaren
Veterinarian
Dr. MacLaren’s passion for veterinary medicine began at the age of 10, when her parents gifted her a hamster named Frisky for her birthday. That early love for animals deepened when she adopted a rabbit named Thumper, who was by her side from middle school through college and lived to be 11 years old. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Houston and spent two years working as a veterinary assistant at a specialty hospital in Houston, TX, where she gained valuable experience in both ophthalmology and avian and exotic medicine.
